The woman had been arrested on October 14th, 2016 and she was serving a home detention sentence
According to the investigation which was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) and Sectional Office in Huila, Gina Paola Ramirez was allegedly still committing extortions of the same kind. Therefore, investigators conducted her arrest.
At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, Ramirez was wanted by virtue of an order issued by the Municipal Court of Yaguará (Huila) Court of mixed jurisdiction (in spanish “Juzgado Promiscuo”) for extortion and criminal conspiracy offenses.
