Two men were arrested by the National Police and CTI members (criminal Investigation Team) as a result of home searches conducted in San Sebastian neighborhood in the municipality of Túquerres (Nariño) for drug trafficking offenses.
The arrested people are Camilo Ernesto Ramírez Álvarez and Camilo Andres Álvarez Caicedo, uncle and nephew (respectively), were allegedly involved in selling illegal drugs to satisfy consumer´s personal doses.
The 19th Prosecutor´s Office charged them with drug trafficking offenses before the Court of mixed jurisdiction (in spanish “Juzgado Promiscuo”). Defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
