First results of the so-called Llanopetrol case, a corruption emblematic case in Meta, were announced

Within the framework of the so-called Bolsillos de Cristal plan and as a result of the anticorruption event which took place in Meta, an alleged embezzlement was detected. It amounts to 18.000 million pesos

Three public servants of this Department were arrested for alleged irregular practices to execute contracts concerning the building of a refinery in Meta.

Arrested people are the Secretary of the Governor´s Office in Meta (former Administrative Director of the Planning Office), former manager of Empresa Industrial y Comercial del Estado (Llanopetrol) and legal adviser of the National  Unit on Victims (former legal adviser to the Governor´s office in Meta and former member of Llanopetrol´s Board of Directors).
