Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira, continued with his extensive agenda after signing an agreement in which both countries are committed to cooperating in the fight against transnational crime.
The Attorney General held a meeting with the Minister of Justice in Spain, Rafael Catalá Polo, and discussed in detail topics of mutual interest. He reaffirmed the commitment to exchanging information in order to speed up investigations.
Likewise, Attorney General in Colombia and the Ministry of Justice in Spain discussed about the Special Unit investigating Criminal Organizations (Unidad Especial de Investigación contra Bandas Criminales) that was created in agreements reached in La Habana (Cuba).
