Binational Commission Colombia-Spain will investigate corruption cases

This document will allow that illegal properties be seized

The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira and Attorney General of Spain, José Manuel Maza Martín is to strengthen the relationship between Colombia and Spain in terms of judicial cooperation.

Through this Memorandum which was signed today in Madrid, both countries will be able to exchange information and use different investigation mechanisms to dismantle transnational criminal organizations by arresting its members and implementing deprivation of property (those illegally acquired).
