On Tuesday, Attorney General Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira participated in a forum Soborno: Delito Transnacional* which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce in Bogotá.
Attorney General talked about the need to understand corruption as a global phenomenon whose fight needs effective international cooperation mechanisms to favor information exchange. “We need an international judicial cooperation in which countries that suffer this cancer, like ours, can effectively fight against it. […] international conventions must provide national authorities with the necessary conditions in order to fight against this scourge” he stated
