A delegation from the Office of the Attorney General in Korea visited the Sectional Office in Atlántico to know how the laboratories of the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) in Barranquilla operate. The purpose is to provide the Office of the Attorney General with high cutting-edge equipment as well as training for public servants.
The director of the Sectional Office, Ángela María Bedoya, who guided the Korean delegation stated “they visited out Genetics and Chemistry Departments, specifically those laboratories in Atlántico since they are the competent unit at national level and our purpose is to reach an agreement between both States and perhaps they will provide us with cutting-edge technology”.
This delegation is made up of a DNA expertise Su-Jeong Park; an expert on chemistry Jeon G, Hui Jeon G. and a medical examiner from the Office of the Attorney General in korea Jin Young Kim.
