Office of the Attorney General brought charges against ICBF former regional director and a family advocate

In a public hearing, the Office of the Attorney General brought charges against the former director of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF) in Santander, Hortensia Bacca Lobo, for alleged breach of duty.

The complaint was filed by the ICBF’s Internal Control Office for alleged irregular practices in the administrative process to restore minor´s rights whose consent to adoption is final since December 12^th, 2011 but presented before committees for adoptions on June 5 and 12, 2012.
