Former senator Otto Bula was arrested.

  1. Last December 21st 2016, within the framework of the agreement signed by Odebrecht before the authorities of the United States, in the sense of cooperating, the Department of Justice of that country stated in regards to the bribes conducted in 12 countries that in the case of Colombia, those payments add up to 11 million dollars between 2009 and 2014 in order to secure contracts on public works.
  2. According to investigations that were carried out by the Office of the Attorney General, payments that were made by Odebrecht in order to secure two (2) contracts concerning public works at national level amounted to USD $ 11.100.000,oo.
