The Office of the Attorney General received 1.2 million of criminal complaints

The Office of the Attorney General revealed that a total of 1.228.112 criminal complaints were received in 2016 which reflects a growth of 4.02 percent compared to 2015.

Concerning registries on crimes* 2016, Attorney General Néstor Humberto Martínez informed that the most common crimes are theft with 314.511 cases (25.61 percent of criminal complaints); personal injuries with 185.573 cases (15.11 percent of criminal complaints) and domestic violence with 120.154 cases (9.78 percent of criminal complaints).
