This criminal structure was allegedly led by an employee from the so called Nueva EPS and defrauded the institution of more than 1.200 billion pesos.
The Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) arrested an employee, a former employee of Nueva EPS and 7 private individuals who committed criminal conspiracy in order to defraud health sector in the city of Barranquilla.
Arrests took place after Nueva EPS filed a complaint stating that there was a possible fraud against health system since people were demanding high cost medicines.
