Seven families received psychologic, psychosocial and judicial assistance by the Office of the Attorney General with the support of the Unit for Victims and Reparation (Unidad para la Atención y Reparación Integral a las Víctimas) in order be to prepared to receive their relatives’ remains who were victims of the internal armed conflict.
The interinstitutional team providing support was formed by medical examiners, psychologists, social workers and forensic dentists who worked during two years with 30 relatives of victims whose bodies were exhumed between 2014 and 2015 in Arauca, Tolima and Meta. Murders were committed by the authors of armed conflict in the country.
