The Director General of the British National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Director of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) made an official visit to the Office of the Attorney General in order to address judicial cooperation issues between the United Kingdom and Colombia. After several years of operative cooperation on drug trafficking and money laundering issues, these three organisms agreed to increase their cooperation as a result of the meetings which took place in Londres during the state visit of the Head of State in Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos.

The United Kingdom and the Office of the Attorney General will build a stronger strategic alliance to combat the unsteady aspect of the transnational organized crime and simultaneously, they will share experiences concerning issues that have been identified by the Attorney General as a priority in Colombia.
