Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira, stated that he feels optimistic about changes made by citizenship in regards to the Peace Agreement in the last days. He also expressed that the Office of the Attorney General hopes that a political negotiation is the solution to the armed conflict which has caused damage, has involved a lot of sacrifice and have spilled blood in Colombian society for more than 70 years.
He also stated that this new agreement which was brought to the attention of the country two days ago and has been analyzed in detail, shows important progresses that satisfy public concerns which raised from different sectors.
