Operation which took place in Cartagena, Cali and Medellin. Six people were arrested
More than 3.600 billion pesos represented in counterfeit dollars and pesos were seized by the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) from the Office of the Attorney General in the framework of an operation aimed at combating mafias which are engaged in this offense.
CTI Investigators arrested six people in Cali (Valle del Cauca), Medellin (Antioquia) and (Cartagena) and banknotes, machinery and supplies used to manufacture them were also seized.
