Thanks to the so called plan “Bolsillos de Cristal” which was promoted by the Office of the Attorney General in order to fight against corruption, first results have been achieved in the Department of La Guajira where public servants, contractors and private individuals are involved.
As a result of a two-month work carried out by prosecutors, irregularities were detected in contracts related to sensitive programs for the community in areas such as: education, aqueduct, health, child support services and different civil works.
