As a result of an ongoing operation against motor vehicles theft and commercialization of stolen auto parts, the office of the Attorney General and the Metropolitan police in Medellin have carried out about 76 home searches and have arrested 52 people, so far.
These operations were conducted at the neighborhood known as “la comuna 10” at La Candelaria sector in Medellin (Antioquia).
Plates, parts of autos and motorcycles which had been stolen have been recovered. These were in a hideaway.
