Juan Bautista Marín Chavarriaga, alias “Juanchito”, alleged ringleader of a criminal gang known as “Los Parmalat” was sent to prison by the 17 Municipal Court in Medellin with supervisory functions (control de garantías). He is allegedly responsible for aggravated criminal conspiracy with extortion and aggravated extortion purposes.
