The First Specialized Circuit Court in Santa Marta (Magdalena) sentenced Wilmer Enrique Núñez Mejía alias “Fuego Verde” to serve 9 years in prison for criminal conspiracy to commit murder.
According to the investigation which was conducted by the 12th Specialized National Prosecutor´s Office against Organized Crime, the condemned person was part of the criminal organization known as “Clan del Golfo” (Los Urabeños or Clan Úsuga) which operated in Santa Marta, small towns and Sierra Nevada foothills.
