As a result of investigations conducted by an interdisciplinary work team which was led by two prosecutors, human remains were found in a grave located at the ruined houses in a sector known as “El Bronx” in the city of Bogotá.

This team that was also composed of members of the Technical Investigation Team, CTI technicians and experts from the National Institute of Legal Medicine, found a dismembered body hidden in solid concrete.

Deputy Attorney General, María Paulina Riveros, explained that a buried corpse was found in the Bronx. She stated that this person is under an identification process at  the Legal Institute of Medicine and that the level of sophistication that was found in that place reveals a serious problem in the city, which is, the existence of a place like this.

Riveros stated that without a doubt, this discovery is associated with drug trafficking networks in the main city of the country and shows the degree of criminal sophistication achieved by these organizations.
