The 2nd Specialized Circuit Court in Pereira (Risaralda) approved a plea bargain between the Office of the Attorney General and the lawyer of defendants Brayan Alexánder Díaz and Yury Milena Rua Aguirre for the kidnapping of a soldier which took place on august 10, 2014 in the municipality of Dosquebradas.
Since Diaz, also known as “Chocorramo”, pled guilty to the charges he will serve a sentence of 6 years and 6 months in prison for simple kidnapping, aggravated robbery, torture and use of minors to commit crimes.
Rua Aguirre will serve 8 years and 6 months in prison for torture and aggravated robbery.
