A judge with supervisory functions (control de garantías) issued an arrest warrant for members of the central command (Comando Central (Coce)) belonging to the National Liberation Army (Ejército de Liberación Nacional ELN) after a preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued for the terrorist attacks against the oil company infrastructure, specifically, the oil pipeline “Oleoducto Caño Limón–Coveñas” and their environmental impact between 2011 and 2016.
Nicolás Rodríguez Bautista, alias Gabino; Eliécer Herlinton Chamorro Acosta, alias Antonio García; Israel Ramírez Pineda, alias Pablo Beltrán; Rafael Sierra Granados, alias Ramiro Vargas, and Gustavo Aníbal Giraldo Quinchía, alias Pablito were criminally charged since they are related to an investigation which was conducted by the National Office of Analysis and Contexts from the Office of the Attorney General.
