Prosecutors from the Immediate Reaction Unit (URI) 1 of Cali (Valle del Cauca) coordinate the proceedings known as “actos urgentes”2 which are carried out by CTI and Sijin members aimed at clarifying facts that took place in the last 72 hours as two women were killed in different events (18 and 40 years old).
The first case took place in a motel located in Valle del Cauca where the 18-year-old victim, Sandra Marcela Sierra Palacios, was found dead in one of the rooms where she got in with her alleged boyfriend few hours ago. Members of the Technical Investigation Team (CTI) is in charge of the proceedings known as “actos urgentes”.
Meanwhile, the second investigation is related to a 40-year-old female who was allegedly killed by her former couple when she was aboard a public service vehicle. The victim was shot several times and was taken to a hospital where she arrived without vital signs. Apparently, her aggressor tried to commit suicide some minutes later.
