Lawyer, Paulina Riveros Dueñas was appointed Deputy Attorney and her public appearance in media was presided over by Attorney General Néstor Humberto Martínez.
Also, lawyer Fabio Espitia Garzón was appointed as Head of the Unit delegated before the Supreme Court of Justice.
Riveros Dueñas was co-author of several books on criminal law. She acted as plenipotentiary of the Colombia´s Government Peace negotiation team in La Habana (Cuba) in dialogues with FARC´s guerrilla and she developed transitional justice, victim’s rights and gender equality topics.
Espitia Garzón, for his part, is a renowned academic at Law Schools in the country and several Courts since his professional experience as a lawyer has been characterized by his duties as litigant and member of the Office of the Attorney General where he held several positions such as Interim Deputy Attorney.
