After 5 months of follow-up activities and investigations, seven people which include private individuals and employees from TransMilenio were arrested by the Office of the Attorney General since it was possible to determinate that they allegedly defrauded the transportation system´ finances.
Interim Attorney General stated that these people cloned and adulterated tickets of this transportation system which were subsequently sold for half the price. A ticket that might cost 30 or 40 thousand pesos was sold for 15 or 10 thousand pesos. It means that this ticket was used in this system but it was a non-authorized ticket. It was a cloned ticket.
