156 properties that were used to sell drugs around the country were seized

156 properties used to sell drugs were seized by the Office of the Attorney General in 19 cities of the country. These are known as “ollas de expendio”* that distributed drugs at schools, colleges and amusement areas.

Interim Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo, stated that mayors from different municipalities have requested to dismantle micro drug trafficking organizations whose main purpose is to distribute drugs to students, people who visit parks and recreation areas. He also said that it has allowed to dismantle 20 of 53 organizations in a week.
