Interim Attorney General Jorge Fernando Perdomo presented a report concerning investigations for the murder of 18 human rights defenders in the country. Also, the Ambassador from the United Kingdom, Peter Tibber; the Head of the European Union’s Delegation in Colombia Ana Paula Zacarías; the Representative to the United Nations for Human Rights, Todd Howland, and 10 representatives from embassies attended the meeting.
In the presence of Deputy Attorney, Elka Venegas Ahumada, and the Head of the National Office of Regional Offices and Public Safety, Luis González León, Attorney General Perdomo highlighted 18 cases that have been prioritized “priorizados” by the Office of the Attorney General.
