Interim attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo, highlighted two operations which led to the arrest of 20 people who would be linked to criminal organizations engaged in the sale of drugs. One of the organizations took control of the so called neighborhood Sierra Morena which is a squatter settlement that could be named as “Bronx” in Manizales.
As a result of 23 home searches conducted by 300 CTI agents and Sijin Police officers, 12 people were arrested. The arrested people were identified as members of an alleged organization which distributed and commercialized bazuco, cocaine, marihuana and cocaine base to homeless people, school students, and upper-middle class people.
