Interim Deputy Attorney Elka Venegas Ahumanda chaired a seminar “Extinción del derecho de dominio e investigaciones económico financieras” which was conducted with the support of the Embassy of the United States in Colombia and the Drug Enforcement Administration DEA.
The purpose of this academic event is to train prosecutors and judicial police from the institution in implementing the Colombian context for efficient investigation methods to fight against drug-related crimes.
International speakers such as John Tamerus, Head of International Affairs Unit- Dutch National Police, and Harry Van Haaren, Liaison Officer – Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Colombia stand out. The event is taking place at Hotel Tequendama and will be extended until tomorrow January 25th.
