Preventive detention orders with imprisonment were issued against three individuals who committed sexual offenses against minors

At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, Judges with supervisory functions (control de garantías) issued preventive detention orders with imprisonment against three individuals who committed sexual offenses against minors in the city of Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca). These were independent cases with different facts and independent hearings.

Detentions were conducted by Sijin officers in a sector known as Shangái in a small town denominated La Bocana. The first case is a 33 old male accused of raping his 13 year old stepdaughter and wanted by the 5^th criminal court with supervisory functions  (juzgado 5 de control de garantías) for a sexual offense with a minor under 14.

The second case is a person who was also arrested in the same area. A 47 year old male wanted by the 2^nd criminal court with supervisory functions (Juzgado 2 de control de garantías ) for  raping his wife´s  niece, a  14 year old female.
