The Office of the Attorney General begins the plan of growing the number of investigators in the city of Meta with the aim to be prepared to post conflict

Beginning with the Department of Meta, the Interim Attorney General visited several regions and shared his plan to strengthen the institution in regards to post conflict.

By increasing the number of investigators in regions where FARC´s guerrilla groups have greatest influence, the Office of the Attorney General is preparing itself to deal with any mutation that current criminal groups would suffer after peace agreement in la Habana is signed.

Illegal activities such as drug traficcking, money laundering, illegal mining and extortion must be monitored.

Interim Attorney General stated that sectional offices in Meta, Guajira, Norte de Santander, Antioquia, Valle del Cauca and Nariño will take on this new challenge strengthened with a prepared and complete team.
