A preventive detention order was issued against alias “Puntilla” head of the criminal gangs denominated as “Bloque Meta” and “Libertadores del Vichada”

A  judge with supervisory functions “control de garantías” in Bogotá issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against Oscar Pachón Rozo, alias Puntilla, who is considered the successor to alias “El Loco Barrera”.

A prosecutor stated in a hearing that Oscar Pachón Rozo started his criminal activities in 2006 when several members of the Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) demobilized and he to the contrary helped to create and lead the so-called “Bloque Meta” and “Libertadores del Vichada” criminal organizations which operate in the region known as Llanos Orientales.
