One hundred fifty special cases related to rights violations and attacks against indigenous communities are investigated by the Office of the Attorney General. Presentation took place on February 23rd and 24th, 2016 during the International Meeting about Investigation Techniques on Indigenous Matters (Encuentro Internacional sobre Técnicas de Investigación en Asuntos Indígenas) addressed to prosecutors and investigators. Also, international and indigenous organizations participated at the event.
Deputy Attorney Jorge Fernando Perdomo stated that these processes are being implemented in Guajira, Cauca, Chocó, Caldas, Nariño, Córdoba, Cesar and Magdalena.
