The Office of the Attorney General is preparing itself to deal with post agreement

In the framework of a meeting with Regional Ombudsman´Offices which took place in Santiago de Cali (Valle del Cauca), the Colombian Deputy Attorney Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres talked about prosecution of demobilized people in regards to the 75 points on the Habana´s agenda (“Dinámicas de la judicialización de los desmovilizados, de cara a los 75 puntos de la Habana”).

Deputy Attorney focused on three items. Transitional Justice System, essential elements of this system, as well as, the amnesty and pardon mechanisms.

In this regard, Perdomo considered that every transitional Justice system is imperfect and ideal since not everyone is going to be pleased with results.
