As a result of simultaneous operations carried out in Antioquia and Atlantic Coast by the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) in Medellin, a criminal organization engaged in adulterating and selling national and international liquors was dismantled.
Twenty six people, four of them arrested in flagrance, will be charged with aggravated criminal conspiracy since they used minors. They also committed an illegal monopolistic activity (in spanish actividad monopolística de arbitrio rentístico), impersonation of industrial property rights, food adulteration.
