In the framework of the “prioritization process”1, the National Directorate Specialized on Transitional Justice, the Justice and the Peace Chamber from the Supreme Court held a hearing to pronounce a “macro conviction”2 against Salvatore Mancuso Gómez and 11 Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) commanders from the Catatumbo, Norte, Córdoba and Montes de María Blocs.
The Chamber will pronounce a sentence concerning several facts in which 175 are related to gender based violence, 609 related to enforced disappearances, 405 forced displacement cases, 149 of illegal recruitments and 87 cases related to murders.
