1. Competent judges will be requested to hold hearings to bring charges and detention orders against the Comptroller´s Office public servants EDITH ROCÍO GONZÁLEZ MARTÍNEZ, head for disciplinary issues (Jefe de la Oficina de Control Disciplinario Interno)  and MÓNICA ESPERANZA CANO BEDOYA, head for information technology issues (Jefe de la Unidad de Aseguramiento Tecnológico e Informático) for the offenses of breach of public duty, misuse of public office, concealment, alteration, and destruction of evidentiary material and misrepresentation of facts in a public record.
  2. The above mentioned due to the fact that, on one hand, said public servants used a Tax Liability process conducted in year 2011 in order to arbitrary investigate individuals and corporate entities who were not under investigation of the Comptroller’s Office, which could constitute a  willful action of attributions vested to the maximum tax supervisory authority in the country. On the other hand, during investigative proceedings it was observed that officials GONZALEZ MARTÍNEZ and CANO BEDOYA allegedly hid and tampered with evidence of interest to the Office of the Attorney General.
