Regarding Fundación Universitaria San Martín and the reason why the Office of the Attorney General investigates its legal representative and other executives for committing fraud with a Court Order and its students, the Office of the Attorney General´s adviser, Iván Lombana, talked about the inspections that are currently conducted in several University´s headquarters in order to collect information that could help to bring forward investigations and decision-making processes.
“We are gathering information concerning students that were registered at the University´s academic programs which were canceled by the Ministry of Education. Each registered student could be a victim of a fraud, a massive fraud that could make the situation worse.
