A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued by a supervisory jugde “juez control de garantías” against Yusti Wilfredo Vargas Olarte, an alleged member of the so called Clan Úsuga for his alleged responsibility for the offenses of extortion and aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime.
According to the investigation the above mentioned person would be one of the ringleaders of this criminal group in the municipality of Villa del Rosario (Norte de Santander) and would be responsible for several extortion cases of merchants and cattle breeders in that municipality.
