The 55th Prosecutor´s Office belonging to the Specialized National Directorate on Narcotics and Money Laundering assumed the investigation to determine the origin and the identity of alleged responsible of a shipment of 51 kilos of cocaine found inside a container that would be exported to Belgium.
The operation was conducted by National Police Officers from the Narcotics Division in the Port Company of Santa Marta (Magdalena) who found 24 plastic-wrapped packages containing the alkaloid.
