Regarding the facts occurred on October 6th, the Office of the Attorney General deeply regrets the natural disaster that caused the murder of eleven members of the WIWA community from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and sends a special greeting of solidarity.
The Office of the Attorney General reiterates its commitment to continue working for indigenous communities in our country through the newly created Commission on Native Communities Issues which is in charge of investigating the facts that have violated the fundamental and collective rights of our native communities.
