More than 100 documentary, technical and scientific evidences submitted by the Attorney General´s Office allowed the First Criminal Circuit Court in Itagüi (Antioquia) to convict Edwin Fabián Pineda Garcés for the murder of his 11 and 12 years old nephews.
On October 6, 2012, children were beaten to death while they were sleeping in their own home located at Ajizal neighborhood. The perpetrator hit his own face and tied himself to one of the beds in an adjacent room in order to mislead authorities.
