After a plea bargain between the Attorney General´s Office and Juan Carlos Lozano López, a member of the criminal organization Los Rastrojos, a judge hearing the case “Juez de Conocimiento” in Cúcuta sentenced him to 8 years in prison for aggravated conspiracy to commit crimes and illegal possession of weapons for the exclusive use of Armed Forces.
The above mentioned person worked as a patrolman for the criminal organization in Tibú and Cúcuta (Norte de Santander). He was also member of the security team for one of the commanders that committed crimes in Cúcuta and Puerto Santander.
