The Sixth Circuit Court of Bogotá hearing the case (Juzgado de Conocimiento) sentenced Billy Cristian Rincón López to 17 years and 3 months in prison as he is allegedly responsible for a murder offense.
The judge took into account in his decision that the action committed against the victim was perpetrated for a superficial reason.
