A Municipal Criminal Judge with supervisory functions (Juez de Control de Garantías) accepted the 24th Local Prosecutor´s request and issued a preventive detention order against two women for their alleged involvement in the theft of several checks and the collection of two of them.
According to the investigation, both women would have participated in the theft of several checks exceeding $ 120 million pesos from accounts belonging to the above mentioned hospital. Two of the checks with a value of $ 67 million pesos were illegally collected.
