A Prosecutor from the National Directorate on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against former mayor of Yondó (Antioquia) Jorge Rodríguez Salcedo, as he allegedly collaborated with Central Bolivar Bloc from United Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).

According to statements of some demobilized members from Héroes de Yondó, the former governor  was appointed as councillor of the municipality from 2004 to 2007 thanks to the support he gave to this criminal structure. According to the deponents, once he was appointed in his position he had a lot of meetings with some illegal members in order to discuss different issues including local budget.
