At the request of the General Prosecutor´s Office, the Third Municipal Criminal Court in Barranquilla (Atlántico) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against Yesid Ruíz Torres for being the alleged responsible for the death of the couple Mario Grajales and Digna Rada which occurred in El Valle neighborhood at the capital of Atlántico.
According to the investigation conducted by the 31st Regional Prosecutor´s Office the incident occurred on August 16, 2009 at a property located on 68th street 15th avenue where the detained person would have arrived with a woman in a motorcycle. They would have intimidated the couple and taken their cell phones, their money, among other belongings.
