As a result of the so-called “Aurora” operative 12 people who were allegedly part of the criminal gang Los Arencas, investigated for crimes of aggravated conspiracy aiming to commit drug trafficking were arrested by Metropolitan Police officers in coordination with the 5th Delegate Prosecutor´s Office before Circuit Court Judges.
Likewise, a person who does not belong to this criminal organization was arrested in flagrante during a home search. Meanwhile, two inmates from the so-called La Modelo prison were informed about the fact that they were linked to this investigation.
