A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against a person for transporting more than 190 kilos of cocaine

A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against Davidson Vargas Carmona by the 13^th Municipal Criminal Court in Cali (Valle del Cauca) with supervisory functions (Control de Garantías) for transporting 199 kilos and 600 grams of cocaine.

The facts which are investigated by the 57 Regional Prosecutor´s Office belonging to the National Directorate Specialized in Antinarcotics and Money Laundering occurred on July 11th on the road Cali- Yumbo (Valle del Cauca) when members of the Jungla Tuluá Division from the Colombian National Police Anti-narcotic Division found a truck transporting drugs concealed in its bodywork.
