A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against Hugo Alejandro Zuleta Arango, also known as Alejandro, by the 4th Municipal Criminal Court in Medellin, with supervisory functions (control de garantías) for the murder of Héctor Darío Mejía Henao.
On July 3rd, 2010 in Castilla neighborhood in Medellin, the victim who was engaged in buying and selling gold received a call in which he arranged to meet someone near his house. The victim´s mother told the prosecutor that some minutes after the call she heard several shots, immediately she went out and she saw Zuleta Arango running towards his house with a gun in his hand.
